Frequently asked questions
How do I create a Creda account?
Select Sign in, choose "Create an account", then enter your name, email, phone number and a password. Confirm your email from the link we send you.
How do the 10 free signup SMS credits work?
Every new account receives 10 free SMS credits once, automatically. One credit sends one SMS segment to one recipient. Free credits are used before you need to buy a package.
When do free signup credits expire?
Free signup credits expire 14 days after they are granted. Credits you buy do not expire. Your dashboard and SMS credits page show the days remaining.
How do I purchase SMS credits?
Open Creda Connect, go to SMS Credits, choose a package and select Buy Credits. You pay through Paystack using Mobile Money or card. Credits are added only after Paystack confirms the payment.
My Paystack payment succeeded but my credits are missing. What should I do?
Refresh the SMS credits page after a minute — confirmation can take a short while. If credits still don't show, submit a ticket under "Missing SMS credits" with your Paystack reference and the amount paid. Never share card details or PINs.
How do I send an SMS campaign?
Open Creda Connect → Compose SMS, enter your sender name, recipients and message, review the cost estimate, confirm you have permission to contact recipients, then send.
Why is my Sender ID pending or delayed?
Sender names must be registered and approved by the SMS network before messages deliver. Unregistered names can stay "pending approval". "Creda" is already approved. Contact us to request approval for your own name.
Why are my SMS messages pending or failing?
Common reasons include an unapproved sender name, invalid or inactive phone numbers, or network delays. The provider accepting a campaign does not guarantee it reached the phone.
How do I understand delivery reports?
Submitted means the provider accepted the campaign; delivered means the network confirmed it reached the phone; failed means it could not be delivered; pending or unknown means no final confirmation yet.
How do I contact Creda support?
Submit a support ticket from this page, message us on WhatsApp at 0537152941, or email support@creda.credit. Tickets let you track every reply in one place.
